Quest Capital Partnership Investment Guidelines

As a first step in exploring a partnership with Quest, we ask that you submit a 3-5 page executive summary of the opportunity. The following information is meant to serve as a guideline for what we feel is most important in assessing an investment opportunity:

Brief historical summary of the company, including major milestones that have been achieved and how much money has been invested to date (and by whom), and current capital requirements.

Detailed profiles or resumes of the management team, with an emphasis on execution track record. Name of board members or other key collaborators should also be included.

Description of the product and/or service with an emphasis on proprietary nature, uniqueness, defensibility and value proposition to the customer. Additionally, the summary should address what problem, if any, the product/service intends to solve for customers.

Analysis of the markets served and their outlook, including size, growth, segmentation, customer profiles (including number and concentration, as well as purchase criteria), and key industry trends.

Examination of the competitive landscape and how the proposed product or service compares with other offerings in terms of the price/value relationship, functionality, etc.

Discussion of how the product and/or service will be brought to market (i.e., marketing and distribution strategy). Potential partnership opportunities should also be addressed.

Financial history and projections, including important assumptions underlying the numbers.

Statement of how and when the capital will be used, including milestones that will be reached.

Any connection you have to professionals in the Rocky Mountain Region that have worked with Quest.

If the executive summary meets our initial guidelines, Quest will contact the management team to begin the next step in the evaluation process.
